Footpegs your next best upgrade!

Footpegs are one of the main contact points on your mx / enduro bike, making them incredibly important and a part that shouldn't be overlooked.

While OEM foot pegs do the job for most riders, there are three reasons why you might consider upgrading them for an aftermarket set.

Increased Grip

One of the main upgrade’s riders seek aftermarket foot pegs is increased grip. Stock foot pegs are sound, however some riders who like a more solid feel and will seek an aftermarket foot peg. Aftermarket foot pegs are generally manufactured from billet aluminium and sometimes Titanium and are therefore stronger and lighter than stock. Aluminium footpegs usually also come in a variety of colours to add a little bling to your mx / enduro bikes. Aftermarket manufacturers pay special attention to the teeth on the footpegs which are usually incredibly sharp in comparison to stock, resulting in increased greater grip and feel on the sole of the boot.

Big Feet

Aftermarket off-road foot pegs are an option for riders with big feet who are looking for greater stabilisation and grip on the bike, most aftermarket footpegs range between 47mm and 57mm wide. 57mm wide foot pegs are ideal for bigger riders, as they offer a larger surface area for motocross and enduro riding. A larger foot peg also can provide a more seamless feel on the brake and gear shifter.

Stock Replacement

As we mentioned, stock foot pegs serve most riders very well, but they're not invincible. Sharp and grippy foot pegs are great, but they wear the soles of your boots a lot quicker than normal. The sharper the foot pegs, the less amount of time you'll get out of your motocross boots.
